Tempest In a Teacup

Tempest in a Teacup is a 25 minute dance-theater piece. Through humor, sincerity, dance-routines, and fragmented dialogues, six distinct characters bring life’s existential anxieties to the stage. A non-linear story and an abstract world unfold as the performers grapple with their own unique temperaments and anxieties, telling stories and helping one another through “risky” physical situations. The performers depict scenes that reference reality, but that challenge its significance and that ask what, if anything, is worth being afraid of.
